cwiki.dev

We build the whole product, then put it in the store.

cwiki.dev is a small software studio run by the people behind Currency.Wiki. We design and build web apps, WordPress plugins, browser extensions, mobile apps and Shopify apps, handle the store submissions and reviews, and keep everything running after launch.

What we build

Web applications
Laravel and Node back ends, server-rendered or static front ends, Stripe billing, sign-in with Google and Apple, and translation into as many languages as you need. Hosted on Linode or Cloudflare, with deploy scripts and monitoring included.
WordPress plugins
Settings pages, Gutenberg blocks, shortcodes and widgets, written to WordPress.org review standards. We submit to the plugin directory and handle the review back-and-forth.
Browser extensions
Chrome, Edge and Firefox from one Manifest V3 codebase, with account sync, in-page features and paid tiers. We prepare the listings and get them through store review.
Mobile apps
Android and iOS apps with in-app purchases, push notifications and sign-in, published to Google Play and the App Store under your developer accounts.
Shopify apps
Embedded admin apps built with Polaris, theme app extensions for the storefront, and billing through Shopify, prepared for Shopify App Store review.
AI features
Assistants, document extraction, summaries and classification using Gemini, OpenAI and Claude, with usage limits and cost tracking so the bill stays predictable.

Three builds in detail

Currency.Wiki

One product, eight storefronts.

A currency converter with live and historical rates, charts, a world clock and embeddable widgets, in 78 languages and 173 currencies. The web app runs on Laravel across three servers: the site and public API, user accounts and billing, and finance data, with Cloudflare in front.

Stripe subscriptions, Google and Apple sign-in, Apple in-app purchases, transactional mail on AWS SES. The same product ships as Chrome, Edge and Firefox extensions, iOS and Android apps, a WordPress.org plugin and a Shopify app. currency.wiki

SellBot

A Shopify app with a phone that talks.

An AI sales assistant that answers shoppers from the store's real catalog, opens the chat at the right moment, and the second someone taps "Talk to a person", the owner's phone lights up and says so out loud.

Embedded Shopify admin app built with Polaris, a theme app extension for the storefront, billing through Shopify, a companion phone app, and a marketing site on Astro deployed by Cloudflare Pages. sellbot.org

Document Pro

Documents in, accounting files out.

Upload PDF invoices or bank statements, including scanned ones, and get Excel, CSV, Xero and QuickBooks files back, with amounts converted to your currency. AI extraction on Gemini, with validation that checks the totals add up before anything is exported.

Runs on its own server behind the main site, with one-time credits through Stripe and automatic deletion of uploads. The same pipeline, with LibreOffice, converts Microsoft Publisher archives. currency.wiki/invoice-converter

How a project runs

  1. Scope

You describe the product. We return a written spec, a fixed price and a date.

  2. Build

Work happens in a shared repository, with a build you can click every week.

  3. Ship

We handle the store submissions, the reviews and the launch itself.

  4. Run

Hosting, monitoring, updates and fixes, on a monthly plan or as needed.

Who you're working with

cwiki.dev is the studio name of CurrencyWiki Technologies LLC, a US company. We started by building Currency.Wiki for ourselves and kept going: today it runs in 78 languages across the web, three browser stores, two app stores, WordPress.org and Shopify.

Client work gets the same tooling and the same people. You talk to the person building your product, not an account manager.
